Optical coating requirements depend on wavelength range, substrate material, angle of incidence, durability and inspection method. Junbang reviews AR, BBAR, HR, filter and infrared coating requirements as part of custom optical component manufacturing.
For complex VIS/IR projects, we recommend confirming coating targets and measurement expectations before production so transmission, reflection or witness sample data can be planned properly.
Please include substrate material, wavelength band, coating target, AOI, polarization if relevant, clear aperture, durability requirements, quantity and required coating curve or witness sample documents.
Post-Coating Verification
Multilayer coating stress can change the surface figure of a precision mirror. Our coating design and process are optimized for both optical performance and stress control, with the final acceptance based on the mirror in its fully coated condition.
These representative measurements show the final surface figure achieved after coating. Both samples met the project requirement of PV ≤ λ/4 and RMS ≤ λ/30. Measurements were performed at 632.8 nm over the specified measurement aperture.
